Steven P. Croley
Steven P. Croley served on the IPI Advisory Board from August 2008 through August 2010 when he accepted a position with the White House Domestic Policy Council. Previously, he was Professor of Law at the University of Michigan School of Law. He teaches and writes in the areas of administrative law, civil procedure, regulation, torts, and related subjects. Professor Croley began his teaching career in 1993 and served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 2003 through 2006. Since 2006, he has served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Michigan. In 2007-08, he worked on the Obama-Biden campaign. He has previously served as a consultant to the Administrative Conference of the United States, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Michigan Law Revision Commission. His book, Regulation and Public Interests: The Possibility of Good Regulatory Government, was published by Princeton University Press in 2008.

Jacob J. Lew
Jack Lew was named Chief of Staff to President Barack Obama on January 9th, 2012. Prior to that he served as director of the Office of Management and Budget, a position he also held under President Clinton. Previously, he was the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Department to Secretary Clinton. Mr. Lew was managing director and chief operating officer of Citi Alternative Investments (CAI) until January 2009. Before joining CAI in January 2008, he was managing director and chief operating officer of Citi Global Wealth Management. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Lew was executive vice president and chief operating officer of New York University, where he was responsible for budget, finance, and operations. He was also a professor of public administration.
