Arvin Ganesan works on public policy at Apple, specifically focused on environmental and energy issues. Prior to joining Apple, Arvin was the Vice President for Federal Policy at Advanced Energy Economy, a trade association focused on making the electricity system more clean, secure and affordable. Arvin spent a decade in government, serving at the Environmental Protection Agency in several posts, including Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy to EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy, and Associate Administrator for Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson. Before these appointments, Arvin served as the senior policy adviser on energy and environmental issues to the late Senator Frank R. Lautenberg of New Jersey. Arvin did his undergraduate work in Economics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and obtained his Master of Public Administration degree from George Washington University.
