He works on energy, environmental, and political economy issues using tools from empirical industrial organization. During his Ph.D., Pello visited the Economics Departments of Columbia University, the Toulouse School of Economics, and the Barcelona School of Economics Energy Research Group. Prior to his graduate studies, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Deusto.
