President Biden announced his intent to nominate Richard Revesz to serve as Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs within the U.S Office of Management and Budget. Revesz is AnBryce Professor of Law and Dean Emeritus at NYU School of Law, where he directs the Institute for Policy Integrity. Revesz will take a leave of absence from the Institute for Policy Integrity during this period. Jack Lienke and Burçin Ünel will serve as Interim Co-Executive Directors of the Institute.

Lienke had served as the Institute’s Regulatory Policy Director, participating in dozens of regulatory proceedings before a wide range of federal agencies and filing amicus briefs in numerous federal court cases. He is also an adjunct professor at NYU Law and Brooklyn Law School.

Dr. Ünel, who had served as the institute’s Energy Policy Director, is an expert in utility regulation, and environmental and energy policy. She has authored over 80 papers, policy briefs, public comments, and reports. Dr. Ünel recently returned to Policy Integrity after a stint at the U.S. Department of Energy, where she focused on federal clean energy legislation, clean energy deployment, and infrastructure planning.
