Our Funding

The Institute for Policy Integrity’s work is made possible by the generous support of some of the world’s most prestigious foundations, as well as donations from individuals and grants from government agencies and non-profit organizations. Foundation grants typically provide more than 95% of our annual funding. Policy Integrity is enormously grateful to all our past and present funders and partners for their generous support.

During the current fiscal year, we have been fortunate to receive grants and gifts of $50,000 and above from the following groups:

  • Anita and Josh Bekenstein
  • The Bay and Paul Foundations
  • The Bernard and Anne Spitzer Charitable Trust
  • Climate Imperative Foundation
  • Community Change
  • Energy Foundation
  • Heising-Simons Foundation
  • Porticus

While external funding supports our efforts, all of our work is fully aligned with NYU’s academic integrity policies, and we are the sole authors of our research publications and advocacy materials except where co-authors are expressly acknowledged. We generate all of our policy positions internally.
