Kathleen Rest

Kathleen Rest is the Executive Director of the Union of Concerned Scientists, a science-based non-profit working for a healthy environment and a safer world. Prior to that, Dr. Rest spent five years with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She also served as the Chairperson of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health. She is the author of numerous journal articles and book chapters on occupational and environmental health issues.
